Project Description

Want to drink award-winning beer?
We’ve got that on tap.

Small-batch, hand-crafted ales & lagers brewed in the heart of Nelson on Baker Street

Our multi-award winning brewmaster and co-owner, Mike Kelly, believes in making beer that adheres to traditional styles, ingredients and principles. High quality and consistency are hallmarks of his 20+ year career in commercial brewing. Our beers are always changing as we rotate offerings representing the world over, including lesser-known and forgotten beer styles.  If that’s not your thing, we also keep a consistent core of more recognizable styles — all brewed with Mike’s attention to detail.

Below you’ll find our current offerings that are either on tap at the brewery, available at liquor stores across the Southern Interior of BC, or both!

My Milk Stout
(Brings all the boys to the yard)

A silky smooth, refreshing, Belgian style farmhouse ale suitable for any time of year. The unique strain of yeast adds spicy, peppery, fruity, and citrus notes to this ale. Pours a rich orange hue topped by a thick, white head.

El Dorado Golden Ale

3rd Place, 2017 BC Beer Awards  A fruity, thirst-quenching Golden Ale. The clean malt backbone and delicate bitterness are complemented by pear, watermelon and mango notes from a generous addition of El Dorado hops late in the brewing process.

5.3% ABV  13 IBU

First Descent Northwest IPA

A classic hop-forward Northwest IPA. A clean malt profile sets up an assertive citrus, pine and floral hop bouquet, balanced with notes of lemon, pear and apricot.

6.3% ABV 53 IBU

Mikes KveikCycle

A mild, light-bodied and somewhat odd Kveik-style ale brewed with a strain of Norwegian farmhouse yeast. Flavours and aromas somewhat reminiscent of a light lager and subdued saison, while being not quite either. Hints of spice and wood linger in the background. There is a slight sweetness yet it finishes fairly dry
